A woman in New York has sued lingerie giant Victoria’s Secret over negligence involving the use of metal hoops in their swimsuits. The lawsuit worth $2 million claims that Dawn Giugliano of Long Island, N.Y. has been permanently scarred after sunbathing in a Victoria’s Secret swimsuit. Giugliano said that she ‘was using the bathing suit as intended’ and ‘was seriously injured’ when the metal ring that was holding the two cups together got super heated and burned a circle into her chest. It left a permanent, disfiguring scar in the middle of her chest. You think they’d realize that people would wear this in the sun. The lawsuit against Victoria’s Secret charges the company with negligence. It looks like a bull’s-eye in the middle of her chest, Giugliano’s lawyer Luke Bigelow said.
